When quizzed about her preoccupation with sin, Sharon admits she is a cynic who has little faith in people. "Sin, to me, is a very human thing. There are no demons involved. There is nothing psychic or spiritual about my work. I believe the worst of people, and then if they surprise me by being nice and good, I'm better off for it."
