Sharon's blue works have a dreamy aquatic quality, which usually derives from her ever-present craving for peace. "Sometimes I wear myself out thinking about the world and the things that go on," she admits. "I read copiously, everything from newspapers to the classics. And then I respond by painting. It makes me feel more accepting."
